Very nice 2002 BMW 330xi with 152,000 miles for sale. This fly four-door has AWD, which means you're in in every season Utah can throw at you. Outside is a beautiful dark blue, with an amazing gray leather interior. On the inside, this puppy has all the options. Moonroof/sunroof, premium Harmon Kardon audio setup (with after market Dice MediaBridge for built-in iPod/iPhone/USB/MP3/AUX/Bluetooth hookups), seat warmers, air filters, automatic/powered everything (seats, windows, climate control, moonroof, windshield wipers, lights, defrost), ski pass-through to the trunk, complete working climate control (both heat and A/C). All the interior lining/appointments are still in great shape and look almost new.
On the outside, it's got a solid 3.0L 6 cylinder engine with some power you can feel, pretty decent tires (replaced in Dec 2011, only ~15K miles on them), brand spanking new windshield, and a still beautiful exterior. The body's got the expected wear and tear of an eleven year old car, but it still looks amazing. Automanual transmission (automatic with the up/down shifter), and a pretty slick sport mode on the accelerator. Engine still runs great, and I can include the full maintenance history since I've owned it. The oil pressure light does come on intermittently, but I haven't been able to diagnose it and there have been no issues otherwise.
I've owned this car for two years, and am terribly sad to sell it because I'm moving to NYC and won't need a vehicle there. I just had to renew my registration in March, so it's definitely good to go. I'm even throwing in my 4Gb iPod Nano, that fits right into the integrated 30-pin Apple dock for whoever buys it to load up with their own music.

Upcoming new BMW X6 leaks out ahead of full reveal
Thu, 05 Jun 2014The X5 may have been the first BMW crossover on the market when it arrived in 2000, opening the door to more high-riding Bavarians to follow, but it's been replaced twice over now. The X3 is on its second generation, and with the X1 having been introduced in 2009 and the X4 soon to hit showrooms, that makes the X6 - introduced in 2008 - the oldest crossover in the BMW lineup. But it won't be for much longer.
Soon BMW will reveal the all-new X6, based on the latest X5 but with that tell-tale slanted roofline. But before it gets the chance, a handful of images have leaked their way all over the Internet to give us an advance look at what to expect.
The overall shape of the new X6 comes across as familiar, if a bit less of an awkward take on the vehicle that (for better or worse) launched the crossover coupe segment. Up front the twin kidney grilles and headlights are larger, in keeping with the latest BMW design language, and the bumper less horizontal and more dynamic. Towards the back there's a sharp crease above the wheel arch blending into the more rakishly shaped tail lights, while the metallic vent behind the front wheel arch lends the flank an even sportier appearance.
Evo pits BMW M3 against Porsche Macan in drag battle
Sun, 24 Aug 2014If you want to move five passengers in very rapid fashion and you've got a $75,000 budget, two newly introduced four-door models immediately come to mind - both are the highest performing vehicles in their respective segments. But which is faster off the line, to the 60-mile-per-hour benchmark or flat-out over an even longer run? Evo took both to paved aircraft runway to find out.
In lane one we've got the all-new Porsche Macan Turbo, which boasts a twin-turbocharged, 3.6-liter V6 rated at 400 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. The Porsche is fitted with a seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, and the 4,244-pound crossover has the traction advantage of standard all-wheel drive. In lane two is the all-new BMW M3, powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six rated at 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. It is also equipped with a seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox, but only the rear wheels of the 3,595-pound sedan are driven. Both the BMW and Porsche arrive with launch control, which helps to remove driver error off the line.
Which automaker's launch control system is better off the line? Does all-wheel-drive grip give the crossover the advantage it needs to overcome its adversary's power-to-weight advantage? Will aerodynamics factor into the results? Which would you put in your garage, and why? The video may surprise you.
