Very nice 2001 BMW 325 Ci convertible for sale - perfect time to buy a convertible with the summer coming! This BMW features an automatic soft convertible top (it automatically retracts in less than 30 seconds by just pressing a button), as well as a very rare hardtop transforming it into an amazing Coupe during the winter (ideal for all-weather driving). This car drives great, it can fit 4 people for a trip to the beach, but is ready for long trips thanks to its great 184hp engine and a great comfort inside, and drives perfectly in the rain and snow thanks to its hardtop and traction control. This is a perfect car for someone who wants to enjoy the summer while still driving a great car during the other seasons. I am asking 6300$. The hardtop is a very rare option, which sells for 1000$ to 1500$ separately (and used) - so 6300$ is a real good deal! I only had one issue with the car (the power steering pump broke, so I had it replaced with a brand new one). I have just done the oil change this May, and I have put a new oil level sensor. There is no light on the dashboard The water pump and fan clutch are new (preventive maintenance). I have recently put brand new performance front brake rotors and pads - rears brakes are still good for a while. New rear tires put in the fall - front tires still have some life left. Are you a BMW M4 GTS track car in disguise?
Wed, 10 Sep 2014BMW is always happy to extract a little bit more gumption out of its M cars, just look at the latest 30th anniversary M5 or even the earlier CSL variants of the M3 for proof. Now, It looks like we might be getting the first glimpse of an even hotter M4, and it's wearing very interesting livery.
Our spies recently shot this M4 that could preview a future GTS version. It's all done up in MotoGP decals, but that might just be a ruse. This car sports a camouflaged lower air dam and rear wing, but those parts don't appear to be from an actual series safety car. The chin spoiler seems larger, and the rear wing is completely different. You can also spot an obvious Recaro logo on the driver's seat in one of the photos. Plus, the BMW emblem is removed at the back.
The disguised changes and odd choice of decals make this prototype incredibly weird. A BMW exec said at the beginning of the year that there were "no plans whatsoever to make a lighter, harder version just yet," of the M3 or M4, despite earlier rumors to the contrary. Company car offers in decline, but not at The Cheesecake Factory [w/poll]
Sat, 22 Jun 2013As businesses look to keep high-level employees happy, it seems that use of company cars can still be an effective method, although fewer companies are employing it. According to Businessweek, only about 25 percent of companies offer company vehicles as a perk, while less than half give allowances for employees to use their personal vehicles for work purposes.
The report says that one business still in the practice of handing out company cars is The Cheesecake Factory, which offers the benefit to top managers. And we're not talking about some econobox, either. The article indicates the restaurant chain hands out BMWs on a three-year basis - although the company's own report says that the type of vehicle "varies with the executive's level."
Still, we mostly agree with the article's conclusion that money is the best way to keep employees or attract new ones, even if a corporate car is a big perk. What do you think? BMW launches new M Performance accessories for M5, M6
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Those looking to make their stock BMW look like an M model might be interested in an M Sport package. But those who already drive an M model and want that extra bit of attitude to take it over the top look towards the M Performance Accessories catalog, to which BMW has just added a new range of add-ons for the M5 and M6.
The new range of accessories include a titanium exhaust from Akrapovic that's 22 pounds lighter and an extra bit throatier than the stock unit. BMW's also offering a carbon-ceramic brake kit and 20-inch alloys to accommodate them, as well as a carbon aero kit, carbon interior trim and those trademark stripes for the truly extroverted BMW performance enthusiast.
