Offered for sale by Sunrise Auto sales, LLC., is another clean, low mileage BMW.  This car has only seen 44,000 easy driven miles, most of which were in salt free Texas.  Garage kept its entire life, the car looks brand new inside and out.  Oil changes have been done every 3000 miles, which is better than even BMW itself recommends.  All maintenance has been kept up with, and it shows as this car runs and drives like it just left the showroom floor!

Exterior:  The beautiful bright red clearcoat paint is smooth and shiney all around.  It has a high gloss, and shows minimal wear.  There are, of course, a few little dings here and there, and we have tried to show them in the photographs.  Most are almost too small to even show up on camera.  The headlamps are clear and dry, the exhaust is clean and solid.  The wheels are in great shape, with a few small nicks, the tires are all matching Michelins with optimal tread depth as seen in the photos.  I would rate the exterior of this car a 9.5 out of 10.

Interior:  I have honestly never seen an interior as clean and well kept on a car as this one is. It looks like its never been used.  The floor mats appear brand new, as well as the carpet, glass, dash, and seats.  The only sign of wear, if any, would be to the drivers seat.  But with that said, it really doesnt count as wear. This car is equipped with a Bose audio system with 6 disc CD changer in the trunk, as well as a cassete player in dash.  The convertible top is an easy one handed power operation and goes up and down with ease. The top material is original and in excellent shape as well with no signs of wear. There are not even any pixels missing on the electronics, which is a common problem with BMW's.  I would rate the Interior of this car a 10 out of 10.

Mechanical:  As previously stated, this cars starts, runs, and drives as smooth as can be, and seems like it was just built by BMW and stored for its life.  I have seen a lot of BMW's, and without a doubt this is the cleanest, well kept example you can lay your eyes on.

These cars are getting harder to find, especially in this beautiful original condition.  Don;t miss the oportunity to own a fine example of the ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE.

Sunrise Auto Sales is located in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah valley in Virginia.  We are located close to several airports, in the event that you would want to fly in, and drive home.  Feel free to contact us through eBay with any questions you may have.  Thanks for looking!

BMW-Toyota partnership to spawn hybrid supercar

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

BMW and Toyota inked a partnership some time ago to develop green technology, and while we were excited by the idea of a reborn Supra with BMW's carbon fiber reinforced plastic slashing the curb weight or an ultra-efficient, hybridized 1 Series, the joint efforts have been rather limited. That's set to change, though, according to a report from Australia.
Motoring reports that the partners have come to terms on a sports car. And not just any sports car, but a lightweight, hybridized model, with a six-figure price tag. Lending a bit of street cred to that idea is the site's claim that Toyota is currently carrying out durability testing on the BMW i8. According to the site, the new model will slot into the spot left by the Lexus LFA, although based on the language used, it's unclear if this is the Tokyo-bound vehicle we mentioned several months ago.
Details on this potential car are limited, although Motoring claims it will use a Toyota hybrid system mated up to a BMW gas engine - likely the 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V8 found in the M5 and M6. That sounds pretty amazing to us, but we'd still advise taking this with a grain of salt. What would you like to see out of a joint-venture supercar from Toyota and BMW? Let us know in Comments, and have your say on the prospects of a hybridized, twin-turbocharged V8.

BMW confirms X4 for next year, i3 preorders starting to add up

Wed, 20 Mar 2013

BMW has confirmed the long-anticipated X4 will bow next year. Norbert Reithofer, chairman of the automaker's board of management, made mention of the upcoming CUV during remarks at the company's annual accounts press conference. Reithofer said that BMW has sold more than 2.7 million X models since it began producing the machines, and that the company plans to expand those offerings with the new X4 next year. He declined to offer up any more details, though from what we've heard so far, the model will be more of a crossover than either the X3 or the X5.
Reithofer also made it clear that BMW is getting serious about electric vehicles, saying the i3 (pictured above, in prototype form) is "definitely coming to market" and that the runabout will be ready by late 2013. BMW reports it has had "Several hundred advance orders" for the EV. As you may recall, the i3 uses a special carbon fiber reinforced plastic passenger cell to save weight and boasts a standard range of 93 miles. You can read the full transcripts from the press conference below for more information.

2014 Dinan S1 BMW M5

Thu, 04 Sep 2014

The last time the Dinan name graced the pages of Autoblog, Michael Harley was waxing poetic about the S3-R BMW 1M Coupe, a car that still stands in his ranks as one of the best cars he's ever driven. And that wasn't just because it was, you know, amazing. It's because as far as tuners go, Dinan produces some seriously well-executed products. Harley said of the 1M, for example, "It was so fully formed and well-rounded that it felt like BMW itself had made it."
Eager to sample some of these wholly wonderful wares, I cleared a few hours in my Monterey Car Week schedule and booked a date with the S1 M5 you see here - the (current) daily driver of Mr. Steve Dinan, himself. But unlike the S3-R 1M the company tuned previously, the donor car in question here is vastly different and, if I'm honest, not as good. See, I adore the stock 1M in a way words cannot express, but the standard-issue M5... good as it is, there are indeed a few flaws.
But after driving the Dinan S1 M5 around the Monterey Peninsula, I can confirm two things. First, Harley's conclusion that Dinan builds products that feel 100 percent BMW-spec is absolutely true. And second, Steve and the gang haven't just created a tuned M5, they've built a better one.
