This is a NICE BMW. Let me start by saying this is not someone's project or some abused pasted together 325is. I have a 1/2 inch thick folder of receipts and history that support this 193k mile car has been owned only and serviced by BMW enthusiasts. In fact before myself, this car appears to have been owned by the likes of BMW service advisors and then technicians. The car is full of tasteful but NOT over done modifications that mimic (in my opinion) the iconic car that most think of us think of with 90's E36 performance.

I hate most mods on cars, I really do. You never know who pieced something together in the backyard with duct tape and superglue, but again. . .one look at the receipts assured me all work was done by either a BMW dealership or BMW performance shop. My first 3 minutes driving the car also confirmed it! I know these cars well, have had several and driven many, and this is by far the finest riding and driving E36 I have every been in. The engine is smooth and really takes off especially above 3500 RPM's and 2nd and 3rd gears are amazing! The ride is flat, precise, handling is terrific and surprising the ride is no-where near stiff and very comfortable from the performance adjustable shocks. Again, a lot of money has been spent on this cars handling and you can feel it. Brakes great, tracks straight with No shimmies or shakes. NO Check Engine lights either. Its sounds fabulous too with the (expensive) Scorpion exhaust. . .not too "ricer-ish "or loud. . .just right.

You can see by the pictures, and the video I made a while back the excellent condition of the exterior. This car obviously gets a lot attention. There is a small bubble is forming over the driver rear wheel well and has very minor road wear in the front, but again-I'll let the visuals speak for themselves. Its looks great even from 10 feet! It's not perfect but I'll say this. . .if you found 10 of these cars and lined them up. . .this 325IS would be in the top 3 in condition INSIDE & OUT and it wouldn't surprise me if it were to be the best running of the bunch! The M rims look great-are in good condition and sport tires that are EXCELLENT in looks and feel. . ..85-90% tread.

If you like the exterior then you'll love the interior. The car was mechanically near perfect when I got it, and since I have freshened up the interior to match the rest of the car. It's near flawless. Seats, doors, dash. . .all EXCELLENT. You will think "WOW".

How about COLD AC, working sunroof, strong power windows, FULLY working trip and info computer (not one pixel is out!) working cruise control, 3 keys and manual in the glove box. . .with fresh battery to boot.

Two small things I haven't been able to figure out:
One turn signal bulb won't blink on the dash. . .The outside lights-front and rear work fine. . .the blink sound is normal. . .Its working-just not blinking on the dash (yes, I changed the bulb)

2nd: u can only lock and unlock the doors electronically all at once, using the trunk lock. (A common problem on these BMWs if you believe the Internet) Again, u just have to get out-walk to the back, insert the key and turn it once to lock or unlock the doors.

With all the great things I have to say. . .it is a 19 year old car and its not showroom & obviously sold as is. Understand this. . . I am very particular about my cars and I have found that my "NICE" equals most folks "EXCELLENT!!!". I just don't see how you could be disappointed in this car. A E36 M in this condition would cost close to twice as much and trust me, you'll be pleased with the performance.

PLEASE READ: I have this car for sale locally and I believe it will sell locally first, but...If you would like to contact me about purchasing the car, please send me a message and I will give u my contact info: ALSO: I have been ebaying a long time...even bought and sold a car or two here and I know the difference between a poser and an interested bid. ALL EBAYERS even myself started with a 1, 5, 10 feedback rating...but if you have like a 5 and you are bidding on Toyotas, Hondas, and Eclipses then I know you are window shopping and will cancel your bid. I want someone to win this vehicle at the best/most honest price via the bidding process. Please, there are hundreds of crappy cars to do that on...I have placed the car here (knowing the consequences) because I feel ebay is the best way to showcase a car like this to the people who appreciate what it is! So thanks...

    First Ride: 2015 BMW M3 and M4

Getting Our Butts In The Seats
Both the non-M BMW 3 Series sedan and 4 Series coupe have so far brought much pleasure to us at Autoblog. The terrific four-cylinder 328i trim has become our favorite of the 3 Series line, while we have yet to get a chance at the 428i coupe. That said, the 35i trim powered by a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine is not exactly to be sniffed at.
We all know the ones you're really waiting for, though. The F80 fifth-generation M3 sedan and the supremely sexy F82 M4 coupe. Rumors have been buzzing for a couple of years now that the engine would be another V8, only turbocharged this time, or else a tri-turbo six. Well, today BMW confirmed that the mill under the hood's power bulge is a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo of the biturbo variety, referred to internally as "S55B30 variant."

2015 BMW M4 Convertible is here to put wind in your sails

    Thu, 03 Apr 2014

Each generation of the BMW M3 has included a convertible model. Even the distant E30, the patriarch of the M3 line, had an ultra-rare (only 787 were built) droptop model. The convertible became more common on the successive generations, with the hardtop-convertible E93 being the most recent. Considering this history, there seemed very little doubt that as the M3 became the M4, a convertible would be in the cards. Now, the new droptop has arrived.
Set for its global debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show, the 2015 BMW M4 Convertible features, like its forbearers, everything that's great about the hardtop variant while adding an unlimited amount of head room. That means the same 3.0-liter, 425-horsepower, 406-pound-foot, twin-turbocharged straight six sits under its domed hood, while either a six-speed stick or a seven-speed M dual-clutch transmission dispatches power to the fat rear tires.
As for specific differences between the hardtop and the new convertible, obviously, the droptop is heavier. A lot heavier. Where an M4 with a six-speed manual tips the scales at 3,530 pounds, the M4 Convertible weighs in at 4,055 pounds. Believe it or not, BMW has actually trimmed 90 pounds from the last-generation M3 convertible, code-named E93. This marginal weight reduction from the third-generation convertible to the fourth is barely half of the 174 pounds BMW was able to subtract when transitioning from M3 Coupe to M4 Coupe.

BMW M4 Convertible spied with naked top and trunk

    Mon, 10 Feb 2014

Our trusty spy photographers have been at it again, snagging these first images of the forthcoming BMW M4 Convertible without camouflage on its retractable roof and rear deck. You'll recall that this is not the first time we've seen the followup to the M3 Convertible, but that the last batch of images we had were encumbered by a lot more camouflage - this car is virtually naked by comparison.
Not surprisingly, the M4 looks to share its folding hardtop design with the standard 4 Series droptop, and it should operate in a similar manner as well. It's no surprise, but it looks like BMW is going to try and make the transition from M4 Coupe to M4 Convertible as effortless as previous efforts converting the M3 to an M3 Convertible. That should mean that below the beltline, this car is nearly identical to the coupe we saw in Detroit.
As for the camo'd features on these spy photos, the hood, front fascia, rear fascia, quarter panels, side sills and mirrors have all been shown on the M4 Coupe, and don't really bear mentioning. There's been no word of just where the M4 Convertible will make its debut, although considering the lack of disguise on this car, Geneva seems like a likely destination.
