1991 Bmw 325i Convertible - White - California Car - Runs Great! on 2040-cars

Year:1991 Mileage:151603 Color: of the car is in great shape
Location:

Arcadia, California, United States

Arcadia, California, United States

This is my 1991 325I BMW Cabriolet. I am the registered owner of the car and have the Clean California Title in hand. I bought this car from a client of mine and have not spared a dollar in it. I put a lot of money into getting this car into top notch shape. It just passed the strict California emissions.

I used to drive the hardtop version of this car when I was in High School and when I saw it, it brought me back old memories and I bought it. How many 22 year old cars do you see on the road that can still cruise at a 110 MPH and still have enough torque to pull more and still take every corner like it’s on rails? This is truly rare car to come by nowadays.

The interior of the car is in good shape. The driver’s side bottom was recently redone. The color match is pretty close but not perfect. This has the typical E30 cracked dash. The rear view mirror fellow off but I am going to have that put that back on before the sale. The driver’s side seat needs to be adjusted as it leaning towards one way, this happened after the seat was reupholstered.  The back seats look like they have never sat in. the top part of the rear seats have some weather deterioration. It could be reupholstered. The steering wheel also needs to be rewrapped. The leather is coming off. Other than those minor issues, the interior is perfect.  I used did the Euromod and added rear headrests to it. Only the European editions had that. This gives it a much more sportier look.

The exterior of the car is in great shape. The body is straight. The paint shines like it just rolled off the assembly line. It has the bottle cap wheels all around. The convertible top is in great shape. It is only a couple of years old. The rear window can be replaced. It is fogged up. All the lights and glass are in working order.

Mechanically, the car is sound. I have replaced tons of parts in this car. I would not hesitate to drive this car to New York from Los Angeles tonight! The engine has a lot of power and the transmission shifts perfect through all the gears. No Check Engine or and warning lights are on. It does not leak any fluids or make any weird noises. It has air conditioning and after we did the major services we let out the Freon. So the A/C does need to be recharged. It just passed the very strict, and I believe the toughest emission tests in the nation. All the parts I have replaced in the last 500 miles: -          Timing Belt -          Water Pump -          Radiator -          Thermostat -          O2 Sensor -          Catalytic Converter -          Resealed the entire engine -          Instrument Cluster As you can see a lot of time and parts where put into this car. I honestly hate to sell this rare automobile but I have way too many cars and my goal before the end of the year is to get sell all but a few of them. I can assist in shipping this car anywhere as long as the buyer makes the shipping arraignments. It has a very low reserve set.  You call or text me with any questions at 626-232-1831

X1, 3 Series power BMW back into global luxury autos sales lead

Thu, 14 Mar 2013

BMW managed to eke ahead of Audi for the global luxury sales crown in February. According to Bloomberg, BMW saw deliveries swell by 7 percent in February, besting the 3.2 percent jump enjoyed by Audi and giving BMW a 407-unit delivery lead over its rival last month. Mercedes-Benz, meanwhile, continued to falter, with the brand selling some 37,229 fewer machines than BMW, whose factories are running at full capacity to keep up with demand. Models like the X1 (shown above) enjoyed a sales increase of 40 percent in February while the company's bread-and-butter 3 Series jumped by 26 percent.
Mercedes-Benz hopes to stem its continued market share loss with the addition of the entry-level CLA sedan to its portfolio in April. The company is set to roll out an updated version of its cash-cow E-Class at the same time, and a new-generation S-Class will follow along shortly thereafter. Meanwhile, the company is increasing production to meet demand for its A and B-Class models.

2015 BMW S 1000 RR looks to retain sportbike supremacy

Tue, 30 Sep 2014

The BMW S 1000 RR is already a pretty potent member of the superbike ranks, but BMW is revealing a host of upgrades for this two-wheeled lightning bolt at the Intermot 2014 motorcycle show that should make it even faster.
The biggest additions to the latest 1000 RR are its new cylinder head, lighter valves and different intake cam to tweak even more power from the bike's 1.0-liter, four-cylinder engine, and BMW now rates it at a claimed 196 horsepower (or 199 horses if you go with the European measurement, converted from 146 kilowatts), a boost over the first-gen's 193 ponies, and 83 pound-feet of torque through a six-speed gearbox. Those adjustments would probably be enough to make the cycle a tick faster alone, but the Bavarian engineers also cut 8.82 pounds (4 kg) to bring the motorcycle's weight with a full tank of fuel to a feather-light 450 pounds. Much of that diet comes from the redesigned exhaust that cuts about 6.6 pounds off the scales.
Cradling that tweaked engine is a redesigned, lighter frame with fully adjustable springs. The bike also comes standard with Race ABS, stability control, seven-step variable traction control and three riding modes. In terms of styling, all of these changes are communicated through an updated fairing with repositioned, though still asymmetric, headlights.

2015 BMW X6 stays the course with more power, RWD model

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

What would this world be without the BMW X6? Oh, sure, the whole coupe-crossover design trend surely would have started somewhere, but BMW was the first, launching its odd duck back in 2008. Much as we like to harp on the X6 (for being less functional and more expensive than the X5 on which it's based), people around the world sure do seem to like the thing, BMW having sold some 250,000 examples since the CUV's birth. And as you first saw thanks to leaked images this morning, the second-generation X6 has just arrived.
The shape is familiar, as are specific styling elements like the larger headlamps (now available with a full-LED treatment) and taillamps, mimicking those found on the X5. Two trims are available - xLine and M Sport - the former taking a more subdued approach, while the latter uses the traditionally bulgy and aggressive M-badged kit, with larger air intakes and matte aluminum grille bars. All X6s come standard with 19-inch wheels, and 20s are optional.
Regardless of trim, BMW will now offer the X6 in three guises here in the United States: sDrive35i, xDrive35i and xDrive50i. Dissecting the nomenclature, that means the first two models will be powered by BMW's 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six, good for 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. The sDrive X6 uses rear-wheel drive, while the xDrive, of course, uses all-wheel drive. Moving up, the xDrive50i uses the same twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 as its predecessor, though power has been increased to 450 hp and 480 lb-ft. All X6 models are fitted with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and BMW says that the new powertrains are more efficient than before, though official fuel economy numbers have not yet been released.
