You can see them in the pics ( I have a bottle of touch up paint made specifically for this paint that I haven't used much)There is a dent on the left rear of the car just above the left tail light. The right front fender has a relatively minor dent at the 2 o'clock position. Antilock brake system is inoperative. AC is inoperative. The speedometer/odometer and possibly the onboard computer are inoperative. These issues detract little if any from the cars appearance or driving experience"

Very nice black BMW 325 convertible. Approximate milage 160,000

The car is beautiful on the road and just plain gorgeous with the top down.
It's in excellent mechanical condition: With all new belts and hoses, all fluids flushed and filled, and a full tune up.
With recently new suspension components, brakes and rotors, and allignment, this car drives like a dream.

The black convertible top and plastic rear window are in excellent condition. The top shows no sign of fading and the rear window
is clear with no cracks or yellowing.

Front leather seats were professionally redone a couple years ago by the previous owner, and are in great condition.
The rear seats are original and show some signs of wear but have no major defects.

The tires are in great shape and have less than 8k miles.

The professionally installed radio is an after market Nakamichi AM/FM CD player with iPod connection and removable face.

The gas milage is pretty good at 25 mpg on the highway

I'd be willing to drive the car to you on either coast (and anywhere in between) for expenses and a small daily fee.
I'll take care of my expenses to get home as long as you can get me to a major airport.

BMW 1 Series sedan interior revealed

Sun, 09 Nov 2014

The next BMW 1 Series Sedan has made another appearance following our last peek at it in September, and this time, the gallery of images even reveals part of the new car's interior.
Of course, if these images prove anything, it's that manufacturers take camouflage of the interior just as seriously as they do the exterior. We can see in these images a fairly simple cabin, with what looks like a fixed central display. It's quite small, although the housing itself is rather large, so we could be looking at a more basic form of iDrive rather than the full-featured set. Overall, though, this cabin more or less confirms that the 1 Series Sedan will fit in with the rest of the BMW family quite nicely.
Outside of the interior images, though, there isn't a lot of new stuff revealed by these images. As for when we'll see both the interior and exterior fully undisguised, our spies continue pointing to a 2016 debut with a 2017 on-sale date.

BMW 1 Series getting a small nose job

Tue, 06 Aug 2013

As BMW prepares to launch its new 2 Series lineup, it appears that the current 1 Series is going to get a little attention for itself. Based on these spy photos, the 1 Series hatchback (F20/F21), which is not offered in the US, will be getting a minor facelift in the near future.
From what we can see in these images, the updated 1 Series will definitely be getting a tweaked front end, with most of the attention focusing on the air intakes and grille. Our shooter tells us that it is possible that the headlights may yet be reworked in some way by the time we see this car in production form. It still isn't clear if we'll ever see this bodystyle or the next-gen 1 Series in the US, but our most recent report seems to indicate that the car's fortunes will depend somewhat on how well the Mercedes CLA-Class and Audi A3 sell.

Can the government mechanically force you to wear your seatbelt? [w/poll]

Fri, 30 Aug 2013

The National Highway Traffic Administration is considering the use of ignition interlocks in vehicles that would require the seatbelts of occupied seats to be fastened in order to drive the car, Automotive News reports, four decades after Congress moved to prevent manufacturers from installing them in cars sold in the US market. Following a transportation bill passed last year that lift some of the restrictions on seatbelt interlocks, automakers such as BMW are considering the benefits of using them in future cars. Now, before you go crying about your lost freedom, keep reading.
BMW said in an October 2012 petition that the use of seatbelt interlocks would allow the company to make lighter and more spacious vehicles, if the devices could be used in lieu of unbelted crash tests. The crash test has required the addition of bulky safety features, such as knee bolsters, that aren't as necessary when occupants are buckled up, especially when considering the dizzyng list of safety features that come standard on today's cars. Europe, which has a higher rate of seatbelt use than in the US, doesn't perform unbelted crash tests on cars sold there.
