Hello, Im selling my 1977 BMW 320i that i was looking to keep and have around for a long time. But things have changed an im looking to sell it. Im not in a hurry to sell it, as i would like it to go to someone who knows these cars and would enjoy the car for years to come. The paint is has faded from the rich original deep red but it is still in great condition. It does have a few minor scratches and a bigger one on the Hood (pictured). The tires are in great shape as well. It comes with the original tool box with everything included as well as the original spare (not sure how much use it really it but still cool). I have the title clear and free. 1977 BMW 320i Red Exterior Black Interior 4 Speed Manual 99,974 Original miles I also have the original purchase sticker and manuals for it. This is a non sunroof edition. Here is a list of things i have replaced in the last 100 miles. Bosch Point Bosch Distributor Rotor Waterpump and Gasket Thermostat  Fuel Filter Bavauto Ignition wire set Spark plugs (have a set of 4 new ones i will include as well) Fuel Accumulator Fuel Filter Distributor Cap Fuel Pump Relay Front and Rear Hood Emblems Cold Start Injector Inside fuel tank fuel pump Clean and recoated both right and left fuel tanks Fuel lines all and around the tank WUR Warm up regulator (it was cleaned and adjusted) Fuel Distributor was cleaned as well as all fuel lines. Fuel Pressure  New Valve Cover gasket Coolant Flush New Starter The external fuel pump is newer as well (located by the fuel accumulator and fuel filter) I have a box of parts and gaskets for the car i will include if the buyer wants them. As well as all the manuals for the car The body is super super straight and hard to find in this condition, being almost 40 years old it looks better than most cars on the road. The car runs pretty well and is a blast to drive. It could use some intake manifold gaskets to make it run like a dream, not a hard job i just dont have time for the car anymore. Please email me with any questions or concerns, i will be more than happy to answer your questions. photo IMG_1847_zpsd9f6ec49.jpg photo IMG_1849_zps55cfc8ea.jpg photo IMG_1851_zps5f33de5f.jpg photo IMG_1853_zpsa825d342.jpg photo IMG_1855_zps30c32982.jpg photo IMG_1857_zps3b7ea8a5.jpg photo IMG_1859_zps706556a1.jpg photo IMG_1861_zps0442838e.jpg photo IMG_1863_zps776a01d8.jpg photo IMG_1865_zps914af865.jpg photo IMG_1867_zpsc72abc11.jpg photo IMG_1868_zpsc6b0d613.jpg photo IMG_1869_zps578f54bb.jpg photo IMG_1871_zpsb201d88b.jpg photo IMG_1872_zps51b76494.jpg photo IMG_1873_zps66301b91.jpg photo IMG_1874_zpse2452f5e.jpg photo IMG_1875_zps77753172.jpg photo IMG_1877_zps780f8782.jpg photo IMG_1878_zpsd91257fa.jpg photo IMG_1879_zpsad02f593.jpg photo IMG_1880_zps81b23652.jpg photo IMG_1881_zps62ce43ee.jpg photo IMG_1883_zps0d8cbd71.jpg photo IMG_1884_zps52b8cebd.jpg photo IMG_1885_zps0c36515d.jpg photo IMG_1886_zps573e2abe.jpg photo IMG_1887_zps1bcad393.jpg photo IMG_1889_zps812c5d1d.jpg photo IMG_1891_zps6b2377ad.jpg photo IMG_1892_zpsdf05c5fa.jpg photo IMG_1893_zps3fff646e.jpg photo IMG_1894_zps51eb327d.jpg photo IMG_1895_zps8f704295.jpg

2015 BMW M4 Coupe ditches some doors, gains some grunt

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

If you saw our earlier post about the hot new BMW M3 Sedan and were about to call blasphemy for no coupe version, just settle down, silly. Remember: BMW now badges its two-door 3 Series models with the number four, and thus, meet the 2015 M4 Coupe. Looks hot, right?
So yeah, it's pretty much just the M3 with two less doors, but that doesn't make it any less important - or potent. Power comes from a turbocharged, 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine, sending 425 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. You know, the usual.
Not only is the M4 more powerful than the M3 Coupe it replaces, it's a good deal lighter, too. BMW has managed to cut 176 pounds of weight out of the M4, and that means, with the increased output numbers, that the M4 will scoot to 60 miles per hour in 3.9 seconds with the DCT or 4.1 seconds with the do-it-yourself tranny. Either way, that's not what we'd call slow.

Hyundai, BMW in plant talks with Mexican officials

Fri, 27 Sep 2013

BMW and Hyundai may be joining the rush for the border that has already seen Nissan, Honda and Mazda begin factory construction in Mexico, while Ford and General Motors have both made significant investments in their Mexican facilities. BMW's interest in Mexico has been apparent for some time, and while we'd heard grumblings about Hyundai's move into Latin America some time ago, the last we heard about it was in 2009.
This new move, reported by Bloomberg, doesn't get specific on which models will be produced south of the Rio Grande, and as neither automakers' spokespeople responded to the business site's request for statements, all we really have to go on are the statements of Mexico's Economy Minister, Ildefonso Guajardo: "I cannot talk for them, but I think that starting 2014 we'll have new announcements. At least for one." Which manufacturer that will be remains anyone's guess, although judging by all the recent scuttlebutt that's been going around, the smart money seems to be on BMW. We'll stay with this one.

BMW X4 Concept is no Shanghai surprise

Thu, 04 Apr 2013

"One in four new BMW cars is now a BMW SAV." If you're new to BMW parlance, SAV stands for Sports Activity Vehicle, a vehicle type most of us more commonly refer to as a crossover, and that statistic, which comes straight from the automaker itself, tells you all you need to know about why the X4 Concept you see above exists.
Like its larger X6 sibling, the BMW X4 Concept tries to shove a crossover in a mold shaped vaguely like a fastback coupe. Put another way, the X4 is likely to be a polarizing design, though perhaps not to the extent that the X6 divided opinions. As for us, we definitely prefer the styling of this X4 Concept, with its strong character lines and impressive wheel-to-bodyside ratio, over that of its bigger brother. That said, we're sure the AMC Eagle comparisons will begin in earnest starting right about... now.
Dimensionally, it seems the most obvious machine with which to compare this X4 Concept is the 3 Series Wagon - we're not sure if it will be as spacious inside as the 3 Series Gran Turismo. A two-inch stretch in the wheelbase ought to bring a commensurate improvement in legroom, and a body that's nearly five inches longer should be a boon for cargo capacity. Of course, that fastback roofline will surely cut down on the car's roominess inside, but we'll have to wait for the final production model to judge its true capabilities.
