Up for sale/trade is my black 2000 Audi TT Quatro. It has a 1.8L turbo engine and a 5 speed manual transmission. It is turbocharged and has AWD.The car has 106k+ on it and the engine and tranny are perfect. The clutch is strong and the car runs mechanically perfect, everything works great. The timing belt and water pump have been done. It has an after market radio that is iPod compatible and blue tooth compatible for hands free talking. The car is definitely fun to drive and gets great gas milage. The new rims are aftermarket with brand new tires on them, only a few hundred miles in total. The body is pretty good for it's age, a few knicks and scratches on the rear bumper but overall very nice, very expected for a 14 year old black car. Car has gray leather interior, no rips. The driver side window pully regulator cables off, it is a 10 minute job to put the cables back on or a new regulator is 30 dollars brand new, the motor is not broken just the cables came off. 'Worldwide, every third Audi will be an SUV by 2020'
Tue, 07 May 2013Automotive News Europe reports the new Audi manufacturing facility in San Jose Chiapa, Mexico will increase the automaker's production capacity for the Q5 SUV by 150,000 units per year. While the plant will supply every market with the exception of China, most of the production is slated to head to the US.
While speaking with ANE, Audi CEO Rupert Stradler said, "Worldwide, every third Audi will be an SUV by 2020." So far this year, 40 percent of Audi vehicles sold in the US have been light trucks, with the company's sales in that segment jumping by 53 percent. By comparison, Audi passenger car sales have increased by just one percent.
The first Q5 vehicles from the San Hose Chiapa plant will show up on dealer lots in 2016. Audi of America recently received a larger 9,000-unit allocation of Q5 models after seeing sales increase 36 percent through April compared to the same period in 2012.
J.D. Power customer survey of dealers counts Cadillac, Buick as big winners
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Cadillac and Buick have taken the trophies in J.D. Power's latest Customer Service Index Study examining satisfaction with dealer service. Surveying more than 90,000 owners and lessees of 2009-2013 model-year cars, the study found that those with pre-paid maintenance packages were ten percent more likely to buy their next car from the same brand.
Dealer satisfaction scores have improved overall, Cadillac nabbed the luxury segment ahead of Audi and Lexus, taking the crown that Lexus held last year. Buick keeps the mass-market dealer satisfaction win in the family, finishing ahead of Volkswagen and last year's winner GMC. The study also found that service department use of tablets increased customer satisfaction, as did "best practices" like "providing helpful advice." Who knew?

Watch the Audi R18 E-Tron Quattro long-tail testing at Monza
Thu, 02 May 2013Audi released a single photo of the long-tailed version of its R18 E-Tron Quattro Le Mans racer, but the photo didn't offer the best view of the stretched rear. The car has been caught testing at Monza, in Italy, and not only do we get a better view of what it's got out back, we get pretty awesome sound as it makes high-speed runs past the camera.
Since the 2013-spec car was found to be down on performance versus the 2012, the long-tail is a different evolution to see if Audi can eke out more performance from its already dominant chassis. Have a look and a listen in the video below.
