I am the 2nd owner of this beautiful 2009 Audi S5 4.2 Coupe. The car is in outstanding shape and it has the lowest mileage of any black 2009-2010 6MT Audi S5 for sale across the nation! I purchased the vehicle in February, 2012. FULL DISCLOSURE HISTORY: --> Car has NEVER seen an accident, whether in my hands in or in the hands of the 1st owner. Clean title. Clean Carfax. A few issues have arisen over the years: in 2014 it got keyed across the passenger door and fender. I had it repaired and paint matched by a well reputed auto body shop. They did great work. And other than routine maintenance, the only mechanical issue it has had since leaving the factory was 0einvolved the clutch. the car had clutch assembly replaced when I first bought the car. Audi had some TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) pertaining to clutches of 2009 and 2010 6MT Audi S5's.... At the time, the clutch wasn't something that was presenting a problem but I decided to have it done anyway....as a preventative measure I guess.. Anyway, Santa Monica Audi performed the work and the car felt GLORIOUS when it was completed. I've driven a lot of fast cars....among them --> 2006 Ferrari 430 w/manual, 2014 Dodge Viper GTS in manual, even the 2015 Corvette Z06 w/ a 7-spd. I would not hesitate to look you in the eye and tell you this Audi has a better transmission than any of them. It has always been the smoothest, most buttery movement through the gearbox....I couldn't be happier with the transmission on the car. This vehicle is completely sound mechanically. Aesthetics you can gauge for yourself in the pics....but, in my opinion, the modifications currently on the car are tasteful and elevate the quality of an already awesome, award-winning design. The car comes stock except for the following custom modifications: - Audi S5 Embroidered Floormats- AWE Tuning Aluminum Driver Pedals- 20" Audi wheels all around (replacing the exact same style 19" wheels from the factory)- Eibach Springs - 1.0" drop - which gives it a more aggressive stance I am offering this car at a killer price because I like auto selling transactions to be quick and painless...

US-bound Audi A3 Sedan spied testing

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

As the Audi A3 sedan gets closer to its debut, Audi has camouflaged prototypes to take it on the streets for final testing. Last time we saw the A3, it was testing almost in the buff, but it was on a closed track so our spy shooters were kept at quite a distance.
Now that the newest Audi sedan is testing on public roads, our latest batch of spy shots gives us a more detailed look at the entry-level luxury player despite the swirly camo. Except for the oversized wheels and the fancy exhaust outlets and door mirrors, the production version of the car should look almost identical to the A3 sedan concept we saw in Geneva a couple years ago. Some of the details we can see include a good-sized panoramic roof that stretches almost halfway into the rear passenger space and signature Audi LED-accented headlights and taillights.

1,682 miles in a 2014 Audi A8 L TDI - Part 2

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

Interruptions like the Canadian Grand Prix, Le Mans, Pikes Peak, that ridiculous Porsche 911 GT3 and the really good, really outrageous Jeep Cherokee, are among the distractions that delayed the conclusion of this tale. If you'll remember, in Part 1 we started off in a parking lot in Sebring with an Audi A8, headed anywhere that would empty our tank, and after five days in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale and Pompano Beach we bolted in the middle of the night for a breakfast date at an IHOP a couple hundred miles away.
We last left proceedings at a Chevron pump beside the West Florida Turnpike, somewhere around midnight in the humid wilds, having done 660 miles and spent $89.40 to put 20.992 gallons in the great white whale. We had done average speed of 31 miles per hour at an average rate of 27.5 miles per gallon. Those kinds of numbers, as we demonstrated, are good enough to put you in the fuel economy orbit of the Toyota Corolla - to be precise, it only cost $6.40 more to cover that 660 miles in the A8 TDI than it would in the Japanese compact. That led us to conclude that there were just a couple of Starbucks Venti lattes between the A8 and the Corolla, assuming we conveniently ignore the two cars' purchase prices. Turns out we were wrong: it didn't take long for a commenter named "mike" to set us straight when he wrote, "It's clear you weren't lying about not frequenting Starbucks...no way could you get two venti lattes for $6.40." Mike, we salute you - our ignorance of terrible coffee has served the higher purpose of emphasizing the strong case made by the diesel Audi.
But that A8... well, the wheels were still on the damn thing and we had to drive them off. That meant five more days of pilot duty to get us from wherever the hell we were to Wildwood and Daytona Beach, FL, then Brunswick, Macon and Atlanta, GA, then Birmingham, AL, and back to Atlanta.

Audi sends off second-gen TT with a few enhancements

Sun, 23 Mar 2014

The Audi stand at the Geneva Motor Show this year was the focus of a lot of attention with the reveal of the all-new TT, ushering in the third generation of the stylish sports coupe and roadster. But before the second-gen model gets the old heave-ho, Audi is giving it a few enhancements to send it out on a high note.
Stylistically, the 2015 Audi TT and TTS, both coupe and convertible, get a new single-frame grille and LED daytime running lights to make it better match its stablemates. The interior gets some upgraded equipment as well, but enthusiasts will be more intrigued by the optional Competition Package available on the TTS.
Like the package Audi rolled out to celebrate the 500,000th TT made, the new TTS Competition Package gets a fixed rear spoiler, five-spoke alloys, baseball-stitched leather seats with contrasting stitching and a choice of yellow or gray paints for the exterior.
