CLEAN CARFAX. CLEAN TITLE. NO RESERVE!! This car is in GREAT shape!! I bought this as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from an Audi dealer in 2010 and used it as my daily driver until now. It has been garage kept. I have all the maintenance and CPO records on hand. Chances are, if you're looking at this car, you already know what you need to know, but if not, let me be the first to tell you, this is an AMAZING machine!! It's got the same 4.2L V8 that is in the original R8 and puts out 420 BHP Naturally Aspirated with a 12.5:1 compression ratio!!! Couple that with AUDI's legendary Quattro AWD system, and you've got one hell of a driving experience!! I have loved every minute of driving this thing, and the only reason I even considered selling it is because of a change in the family financial situation. The car is seven years old and has the normal wear and tear you'd expect of a car that age… rock chips, leather wear (no rips/tears/holes), etc, but once you put your foot into the accelerator you'll forget all of that!! Other than the aforementioned wear/tear, it's completely stock except for the novelty license plate you see in the pics. Feel free to message me with any questions!! 2014 Audi A6, A7 and Q5 TDI diesel models get pricing and fuel economy figures [w/videos]
Tue, 11 Jun 2013Last year, Audi announced that it was expanding its lineup of TDI models for 2014 with the Q5, A6 and A7 joining the diesel-burning Q7 and A8 L models already in existence. The Q7 TDI has been out for a few years now and we recently drove the A8 L TDI, but now Audi has released the pricing, performance and fuel economy details for the 2014 Q5 TDI, A6 TDI and the ever-stylish A7 TDI. Down the road, Audi has also promised a TDI version of the next-generation A3 that will debut for 2014.
Until the new A3 TDI shows up, the Q5 will be the most affordable diesel model in Audi's lineup, with a starting price of $46,500 to go with fuel economy estimates of 24 mpg city and 31 mpg highway. The closely related A6 and A7 will get identical fuel economy numbers of 24 city and 38 highway in diesel form, with the A6 TDI starting at $57,500 and the A7 TDI starting at $66,900. In the three new TDI applications, Audi's 3.0-liter V6 produces 240 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque, and all models are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Tuner may sue Monaco hotel for damage caused by valet's injury
Sat, 31 May 2014It's relatively common to hear about unethical valets taking a joyride and wrecking high-performance cars. However, a recent 'accident' in Monaco might be one of the weirdest cases ever. Of course, now the lawyers may get involved.
Andreas Belzek, owner of tuning firm Prior Design, was driving his highly modified, black with gold pinstripes, widebody Audi R8 (pictured above) to the Hotel de Paris in the famously rich city on the shores of the Mediterranean. Upon arriving, he was going to check in but wanted to park the supercar himself, which was against the hotel's rules. He protested to the valet but eventually gave in and handed over the keys. Then the problems began.
The Audi barely moved before the valet herniated a disk in his back and couldn't leave the car. The police and paramedics arrived to the scene, which had to be quite a crowd in a city as tiny as Monaco. To get the guy out, the rescue crew had to hook him to a special hoist and carry him out, according to Germany's Focus Online. Belzek claims the efforts to save the man caused roughly 10,000 euros ($13,622) in damage to the car's carbon fiber, Alcantara and Nappa leather interior.
Google poised to release Apple CarPlay rival this month

They're New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox, Real Madrid and Barcelona, or whatever sports-based rivalry you want to cook up. Bottom line, if one company expands into a segment, it's only a matter of time before the other follows suit. And now, that rivalry is about to carry over to your car's dashboard.
Unnamed sources are reporting to Automotive News that Google will unveil its very own challenger to Apple's new CarPlay in-car operating system later this month at the Mountain View, CA company's annual developer conference. The system, allegedly called Google Auto Link, will be the first product to come from the Open Automotive Alliance, a partnership between Google, General Motors, Hyundai, Audi, Honda and hardware manufacturer NVIDIA.
The official announcement is expected to be made on either June 25 or 26, at the Google I/O conference in San Francisco. Expect to hear a lot more about Google Auto Link then.
