2011 Audi R8 Base Coupe 2-door 5.2l on 2040-cars
Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States
2011 Audi 5.2 liter V-10, metallic black exterior, Tuscan brown interior. I am the second owner, I purchased from Porsche dealership in New Jersey. Cars original purchase date was February 2011, I purchased on May 2012. Car has factory warranty till February 2015, 4 year / 50k miles. Car has $3000.00 clear protectant on the areas needed, also on the wheels. Last month I had the annual service done, put on 4 new Michelin tires, had 4 wheel alignment done, and had the car professionally polished and waxed. Paint looks better than new. I hate to use the word "perfect" but the car is very close. A six speed manual transmission is the best way to experience the 525 hp. Paddle shifters may be faster, but the sports car experience is much better with a manual. The V-10 comes with all the carbon fiber extras including the side blades and around the engine. The car is completely stock, except I add a light strip in the engine compartment that you can turn on with a switch from inside the car, in the movies the engine compartment is lighted when driving, but actually it doesn't. Buy with confidence, all services are up to date, new tires, and factory warranty.

The 2013 Rolex 24-hour race at Daytona comes down to the last hour [spoilers, w/video]
Mon, 28 Jan 2013It took 24 hours to run the race, but it was the last one was stuffed with the high action as four cars were still trying to figure out how to gain victory on the track and in the pits. Along with the obligatory crashes, spins, mechanical issues and retirements had come numerous penalties, a double-digit number of full-course yellows and two hours of fog that turned early Sunday morning into a stretch of parade laps.
The final hour would make up for the morning - drivers who might have been happy just to get on the podium had a shot at victory as the end of the race approached, and that turned into a few gambles that paid off, and at least one that didn't...
Next Audi R8 seen and heard in this spy video
Thu, 27 Mar 2014A few weeks ago, our clandestine spy photographers brought home the first good look at the next-generation Audi R8. We were all pretty stoked.
Seemingly following the game plan of the recently shown Audi TT, the next R8 looks to be an evolutionary update on a supercar form that pretty much everyone loves.
Today, the same shooters that snapped the car in stills have delivered some pretty compelling moving pictures of the thing. Captured both in some less-than-inspiring around-town traffic situations and out on the Nürburgring, the video delivers our first taste of the new R8's auditory splendor. Well... a taste of it, anyway.
Audi reveals revised RS5 DTM for 2014
Wed, 12 Mar 2014There existed an era in German touring car racing between when the DTM series was revived in 2000 and when BMW rejoined in 2012. During that twelve-season span, the wins were pretty evenly divided between Audi and Mercedes-Benz, the only two manufacturers who took part. Audi won six drivers' titles in that time and Mercedes won six (although Benz won considerably more constructors' titles).
Now that BMW is back in the race, though, it's an entirely different game. BMW has won the lion's share of the races in the past two seasons, taking both titles in 2012 and the constructors' title last season. The winning driver last season, though, was driving the RS5, making Audi the only one that really stands a chance of putting up a fight against BMW. It undoubtedly hopes to extend that challenge in the coming season, and this is the car with which it aims to do so.
Taking on the Mercedes-AMG C-Class Coupe DTM and the new BMW M4 DTM will be the revised RS5 DTM you see here. Bearing a stronger resemblance to the road-going RS5 you can buy, Audi's new DTM challenger benefits from a revised aero package with more streamlined side mirrors, closed rear wheel arches and reprofiled side sills. The V8 engine carries over (much as it did from the previous A4 DTM and A5 DTM) with 456 horsepower driving the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential gearbox.
