2001 Audi Allroad, Stage 2, 2.7t Twin Turbo, 350+hp, 6 Speed Manual Trans, Clean on 2040-cars
Brooklyn, Connecticut, United States
COMPARE THIS CAR TO THE OTHER ALLROADS ON EBAY THAT ARE TRYING TO GET $8000 - $10000.
Only issue with car is the suspension light is on. Car sat for a month and the battery went dead. When jump starting it blew some fuses, after replacing fuses the light was on and suspension would not work, took it to the shop and they replaced the driver front level sensor. Suspension works flawlessly but light is on. Tech told me to take it to Audi and have the module reprogrammed and that would solve it. I don't have the time or desire. NO OTHER ISSUES THAT I KNOW ABOUT... Wouldn't hesitate to drive it cross-country as it sits. This is a deal. I know it and just need it gone... 2001 AUDI ALLROAD 6 Speed AWD (6 speeds are very tough to find, especially in this condition) VERY FAST This car is in prestine condition, with a few minor scratches on rear bumper cover and plastic wheel lip on driver front Call or email for more details/pictures, INTERIOR IS IMMACULATE (only missing the mirror switch and a broken bracket on the sun visor) both items are less than $20 on ebay. Audi RS Q3 gets snarlier, hits 62 mph in 4.8 seconds [w/video]
Thu, 06 Nov 2014Well, that was quick. A mere 20 months after its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Audi has issued a fairly significant update to its RS Q3 crossover. A light exterior refresh - the most noticeable change is that the grille surround and headlights are now joined - belies more significant changes under the compact crossover's hood.
Power from the 2.5-liter, turbocharged five-cylinder has been boosted nicely from 310 horsepower to 340, while torque has jumped from 309 pound-feet to 332 lb-ft. The result of this extra thrust is that the tiny CUV can now scamper to 62 miles per hour in a seriously quick 4.8 seconds, rather than the original RS Q3's 5.5-second sprint. A new fifth-generation multi-plate clutch is fitted to the seven-speed S-tronic dual-clutch transmission, which Audi claims will now deliver even quicker shifts.
Lighter brake rotors with ridiculous eight-piston calipers in the front provide what we imagine is a lot of stopping power, while Audi continues to offer an optional adaptive damper system. 19-inch wheels are standard while 20s are optional.
Audi releases quartet of A3 commercials, likely headed for Super Bowl
Fri, 27 Dec 2013With the announcement from Audi that it's new A3 would be the star of this year's Super Bowl advertising efforts still relatively fresh, it comes as a bit of a shock that what may be game-bound ads for the new small car are already starting to show up.
A3forums found four ads for the new A3, all of which are currently unlisted on YouTube, that play on the idea of young drivers saving themselves for the right luxury car. The spots are amusing, although we'll admit that we've seen better from Audi. Each spot plays like a clip from a documentary, with owners of cars from BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Lexus talking about their regrets when it came to buying a luxury car, rather than waiting for the A3.
We've got all four videos below, so take a look now, as we're betting they'll be pulled before too long.
Refreshed 2015 Audi A8 starts at $77,400*
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Audi definitely made the US wait for the refreshed 2015 A8 and S8. The updated models were first unveiled last summer, but it has taken until June for the revised flagship sedan to reach dealers here.
The refreshed A8 line doesn't come cheap, though. Prices are up $2,000 or more over the 2014 model year. The basic 3.0T model goes for $77,400 or $81,400 for the long wheelbase version. The long wheelbase TDI is $85,100. The standard 4.0T model asks $86,400 or $90,400 for the longer one. An S8 sets back buyers $114,900, and the full bore A8L W12 is $137,900. All of these prices exclude destination (which was $895 last year and now stands at $925, according to Audi representative Mark Dahncke).
To make the wait worth it, Audi is packing the sedan with new technology and given it the slightest restyle. All models of the luxurious vehicle now come standard with full LED headlights. The 2015 model also benefits from electromechanical steering, available variable ratio steering and active lane assist. The night vision system is also updated to detect animals and alert the driver. Mechanically, there are some tiny tweaks as well. The 4.0T V8 is boosted to 435 horsepower, compared to 420 hp previously, and the 6.3-liter W12 now has cylinder deactivation.
