This is a very special car, and as much as I don't want to sell it, I have no other option at this time. It's a 2005, which was the absolute last year of the B6 body style and is one of the latest B6's ever built. The B7 body style was released in mid 2005. This is also the rare Ultra Sport package, which was a $3k option and included 18" wheels, sportier suspension, upgraded bumpers, door blades, rear spoiler, aluminum trim, 3 spoke steering wheel and a few other bits. To make it even more rare, the Ultra Sport was mostly paired with 1.8T's since those were the more favorable motors for modding. This is a 3.0 V6 USP, which come few and far between. Between the V6 base price and this particular car including every single option available, the window sticker was $43k, which was almost the price of a base S4 at the time!!! Definitely a one of a kind car in a very desirable color combination and I searched long and hard to find this exact car.
I'm a very anal and OCD car enthusiast and this car was used strictly for daily driving duties and to keep miles off my track-ready M3. I purchased this car in July of 2010 with 39k miles and use it to drive from NY to NJ every day for work, so its almost all highway miles. It's also been on quite a few long road trips as I do a lot of traveling. I've put 46k miles on it in 2.5 years, and that's with having the M3 that I drive a lot in the summer. I never go WOT with this car or beat on it at all, if I want to have fun in something I'll pull the M out. This car will easily get 25 mpg on the highway if not more!
I'm also very on top of maintenance on my cars, and this car has been up to date with new brakes F&R, new front half shaft, new front wheel bearings, new battery, new front snub mount, and a plethora of tasteful OEM modifications. I bought the OEM RNS-E Navigation System brand new from Audi last year. Oil changes every 3k miles with Mobil 1 synthetic. The V6 is a much more reliable motor than the 1.8T's which had issues with oil sludge, K03 turbos failing, head gaskets, etc etc. This car drives extremely smooth and is a highway cruiser, very comfortable.
As far as the exterior, there's a few minor things that you would expect on a 85k mile car, but nothing crazy. One of the door blades has some clear coat failure in a small spot, that was there when I bought it. The front end has minor rash/rock chips that you would expect on a car of this age, but nothing huge. No dents/dings/damage besides that, I'd rate it as very clean condition.
I'm looking for $13,995 for this car with everything included. I have a full set of carpeted floor mats and a full set of new rubber OEM Audi floor mats as well for winter use that I'll include with the sale. I have the OEM cargo net in the trunk, the warning triangle, matching full size spare, and first aid kit in the back seat. I also have a Thule Aluminum Aero Roof Rack with deflector and ski attachments that I can include for a small amount more. I still have many stock parts, so if you're looking to spend a little less I'd be happy to remove some of the valuable modifications to bring the price of the car down (reasonably speaking). It might take a little while to find the right buyer, but the car is definitely worth what I'm asking for it. There's nothing for under $20k that I'd rather be driving daily.

New Audi Allroad Shooting Brake concept images leak out, next TT previewed?
Fri, 10 Jan 2014The Detroit Auto Show media preview kicks off on Monday, which means the time is just about ripe for previously embargoed images and information to start leaking out onto the web in a major way. Case in point is this Allroad Shooting Brake from Audi, a seemingly close-to-production vehicle that may foreshadow the styling of the upcoming Audi TT, or hint at the looks of a Q1, or both.
The TT bit may seem far fetched, but we do know that Audi has used a small wagon concept to preview the design of an upcoming TT before - back in 2006 before the release of the gen-two car. We also fully anticipate the Q1 to be breaking cover sooner rather than later, so the safe money is that the concept closely resembles what that production vehicle will ultimately look like, though perhaps with a bit more height overall.
And, frankly, be it a TT or Q1 or both, we like what we're seeing. Sharp character lines on a rounded body form follow the idiom of the current TT rather nicely, while the big-wheels-at-all-corners stance plays into the sporting character we'd expect from any small Audi. Inside, we see the same Virtual Cockpit, MMI controller, and vents that we recently took in at CES, though with a slightly different steering wheel (with the starter button built right in). Tidy work here, too.
2016 Audi TTS
Wed, 08 Oct 2014We recently drove the Audi TT, and although we wish it were radically entertaining instead of merely very fun, it's nevertheless a sharp coupe that vaults ahead of its predecessor with an inspired interior and eager handling. That car will be precursor to this TTS when it gets here a year from now, with the TTS adding adjectives like "more" and "better" to just about everything found on the base coupe. With the standard car having already put on such a fine edge, we wheeled the TTS on Spanish roads and at the Ascari race track to find out how much better and higher-performing the S will be.
Driving Notes
As of this writing, today's TTS commands an $8,350 premium over the TT. Assuming a commensurate gap is carried over into this next generation model, that supplemental dosh will get you 310 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque instead of 230 hp and 273 lb-ft in the standard TT. That would mean more for your money, too, since the gap between the current TT and TTS is 54 hp and zero lb-ft of torque. To achieve the new numbers, the 2.0 TSFI engine from the TTS benefits from upgrades like sturdier valves, revised aluminum pistons and stronger connecting rods with new bearings, a reinforced crankshaft and a high-performance intercooler. The amplified brawn rips 0.7 seconds off the 0-60 mile-per-hour time, getting you there in 4.6 seconds.
Upcoming Audi Q1 rumored to get high-performance SQ1 variant
Thu, 19 Jun 2014The Audi Q1 isn't due for another two or three years, yet Auto Bild reports already that it will come in RS and SQ1 trims. According to the report, the RS Q1 will be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder putting out 300 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, putting it about 70 hp and 8 lb-ft beyond the next-most-powerful gasoline engine in the standard range.
Depending on how you like your gumption served, however, the first SQ1 - like its European SQ5 sibling - go the diesel route with a 2.0-liter TDI fitted with twin turbos for 231 hp and 368 pound-feet of torque. That's an improvement of 47 hp and 88 lb-ft over the most powerful diesel engine said to be offered on the regular Q1.
The report goes on to say that there should be g-tron (natural gas) and e-tron versions of the Q1, and buyers will get a deep toy chest of assistance packages to equip it with. Starting price in Europe is expected to be around 25,000 euros, which, if correct, would make it 4,000 euros less dear than the Q3 in Germany.
