1999 Audi A4 Quattro 2.8l Automatic on 2040-cars
North Wales, Pennsylvania, United States
Car is in great overall shape. Body in great condition. Only one small dent (size of two dimes) on the hood by the front grille other than that no rust, scratches or dents. Car looks amazing for a 99. Engine and transmission in solid condition. Alternator and battery replaced about 2 months ago. Tune up done last summer. A/C and heat work great. Driver seat heater works but passenger side does not. power windows, seats and sunroof all work fine. Only non-working item is the key fob. I had to change a faulty central lock switch about a month ago and the remote lock has not been working since. The key needs to be programmed by a dealer.
This is a great vehicle for winter driving. Used it last winter with the crazy snow storms and no problems at all. It is also very good on gas. You will get an average of about 20 mpg which is great for the power this car has. Any questions, feel free to drop me a line... |

2014 Audi RS7 [w/video]
Wed, 17 Jul 2013Stunning Sportback Gets The Performance To Match
Saying the 2014 Audi RS7 Sportback is not as good as the not-for-North-America Audi RS6 Avant we recently tested is a bit like saying one more strip of crispy bacon would make our Waffle House All-Star Special breakfast even more special. The RS7 goes to ten while the RS6 goes to eleven, maybe, but they both rock our world. The RS7 is meant for the far wider buying audience worldwide, not just for western European family bombing runs, as with the RS6 Avant.
But, hey, this RS7 simply hurtles down the road in a singularly sexy way. And if you really want this bodystyle - and who could blame you? - the RS6 Avant doesn't really even matter anyway. After a full day on perfect dry and warm Swabian two-lanes driving this Audi very hard, we barely thought about it at all.
Notes from day one of the Rolex 24 at Daytona
Sat, 26 Jan 2013We came to Daytona Beach, Florida where you can drive on the beach, gun shops outnumber doughnut shops and you can putt-putt and fish for alligators at the same place. But we're not here for any of that - we've made the trip with Audi in order to experience the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the first race in the 2013 Grand-Am season and the only 24-hour race in America.
Three teams are racing four Audi R8 Grand-Am cars - WeatherTech Racing, Rum Bum Racing and APR, which is running two cars. Shown to the world two years ago, the R8 Grand-Am is part of Audi Sport's R8 LMS customer racing program that was commenced in 2008, and ever since 2009 has been nabbing success all over the world: In four years it has taken 154 victories and 17 series titles. That is with less than 100 cars sold to customers throughout the world, and the trophies - either class wins or overall victories - have been gathered from all of the major endurance races except one: Daytona.
Google poised to release Apple CarPlay rival this month
Tue, 17 Jun 2014Apple and Google. They're the Michigan and Ohio State of the tech world. They're New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox, Real Madrid and Barcelona, or whatever sports-based rivalry you want to cook up. Bottom line, if one company expands into a segment, it's only a matter of time before the other follows suit. And now, that rivalry is about to carry over to your car's dashboard.
Unnamed sources are reporting to Automotive News that Google will unveil its very own challenger to Apple's new CarPlay in-car operating system later this month at the Mountain View, CA company's annual developer conference. The system, allegedly called Google Auto Link, will be the first product to come from the Open Automotive Alliance, a partnership between Google, General Motors, Hyundai, Audi, Honda and hardware manufacturer NVIDIA.
The official announcement is expected to be made on either June 25 or 26, at the Google I/O conference in San Francisco. Expect to hear a lot more about Google Auto Link then.
