2008 Aston Martin Vantage V8 Convertible

I am selling my gorgeous, perfect condition 2008 Aston Martin Vantage. I have absolutely loved owning and driving this car for the last 2 years but just got a new lease and unfortunately don't have any room left in the stable. It has only been driven occasionally on the weekends so it only has 15k carefully driven miles. It has never been driven in rain or bad conditions of any kind. And since I live here in Arizona and it was originally from Southern California, it has never come close to seeing snow. The color scheme and wheels is what originally drew me to this car and I think really sets this Aston apart from the other Vantages on the road. The wheels are custom TSW 19" with Bridgestone Potenza 235/40's up front and 274/35's in the rear. I believe Aston Martin calls the exterior color Tungsten Silver Metallic and it really does this car justice. It also has a black soft-top in perfect condition and a unique two-tone black and saddle brown leather interior that really helps to show off Aston's beautiful stitch-work. Everything works perfectly and as it should on this car and I have had all service work performed at the Aston Martin dealership in North Scottsdale. I also have the original Navigation DVD, manual, and 2 sets of keys/remotes. I will definitely miss the hum of the Vantage's V8 firing up and the awesome exhaust note that follows and hope to see my car go to an owner that will love and appreciate it as much as I have. Bentley went to the Windsor Castle Concours of Elegance as the main sponsor and showed off six of its best among the gathering of "60 of the finest motor cars in the world," including the 4¼-liter Bentley 'Embiricos' Special built for a Greek shipping magnate and gentleman racer in the 1930s.
Even better, for us at least, is that when Bentley decided to capture the moment it took pictures of most of the metal on the lawn, not just the Bentleys. Supercar parade entering highway is mesmerizing

In what must have looked and sounded to motorists on the M6 like an invasion of The Swarm, a parade of 50 enthusiast gems leaving a charity event were caught shooting down the on-ramp and merging into traffic. There were plenty of Porsches joining the 959 and Ducktail above, Aston Martins going back to the badboy V8 of the last millennium, a Ferrari Testarossa, a TVR and numerous other Easter eggs.
There were not, however, plenty of turn signals, with someone counting just five among the fifty engaging in proper use of the blinker. One reason put forth for that is the same reason we're posting this video, which is from last Summer, below: "because supercar." Enjoy.

Aston Martin and Mercedes-AMG formalize technical partnership

The development of a partnership between Mercedes-Benz and Aston Martin has been a long time coming. The news dates back to 2008, and over the five years since was supposed to lead to a rejuvenation of both the Maybach and Lagonda brands. That program ultimately fell apart, but the tie-in was forged afresh in July when the two automakers signed a letter of intent over a renewed partnership. And now that partnership has been formalized.
In a deal just announced, Mercedes-AMG will build a new V8 engine for Aston Martin that will power a new generation of luxury GTs for the British marque, presumably to replace the 4.7-liter V8 in the Vantage. The relationship appears to be similar to the one already in place between AMG and Pagani, only in this case, will involve Daimler taking as much as a five-percent stake in Aston Martin and an observer seat on Aston's board.
The technical partnership is also set to lead to the supply of electric and electronic systems, and could incorporate "additional areas of cooperation in the future." Whether that will include a fresh attempt at reviving Lagonda remains to be seen, as does the future of Aston's long-serving, Ford-based 6.0-liter V12 engine.
