Partially restored 1967 Alfa Duetto 2L Turbo Fuel Injected with performance suspension, five-star Cromodoras and custom intake and exhaust manifolds.

Needs: Battery, turbo, tires will need replacing. Metal floor sections of the running boards replaced (see pics), and small section on rear wheel well. Top is useable but no longer water proof and will need replacing and lastly paint.

I bought the Duetto in August of ’93 with the turbo conversion already installed. I slowly started to complete the Turbo Duetto project, adding suspension components, the Cromodoras, Personnal wheel, roll bar, limited-slip dif. and other parts mostly from Norman Racing in Berkeley, CA. My intention was to make it a street-legal Duetto, which would also be quite a capable track car. I’m now parting with the project.

Of the fewer than 3,000 Duettos ever produced, it makes this, a true collectable classic. The hard-to-find parts are mostly there, so it will make a beautiful Duetto.

Buyer pays all shipping fees.

California DMV fees $609.00

Just 45% of Fiat dealers are profitable, and they're angry about it

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

<
On average, Fiat dealers have only been selling about 17 cars a month.
We've been wondering for some time how Fiat dealers in North America have been getting along with just one model range in their showrooms up until recently. Franchisees spent millions building, stocking and manning sleek new 'studio' showrooms, only to have but a single model to sell, the cherubic 500. And even with its many derivatives, the Cinquecento is still an inexpensive model with its attendant lower margins. Perhaps it should come as no surprise then, that just 45 percent of US Fiat dealers are said to be profitable.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles: The next five years

Tue, 06 May 2014

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 24 hours, you've no doubt read about all of the big future product news coming out of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles today. We had individual brand reports from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Maserati and even Ferrari, but in the interest of simplifying and summarizing, we're going to list out the hard facts once more. Of course, with all of this still off in the future, there's still the possibility that a few changes will be made. But as of what we know right now, here's what's coming, and what's going away.

Share price falls on skepticism of Chrysler-Fiat five-year plan

Thu, 08 May 2014

Following this week's Fiat Chrysler extravaganza, where the Italian-American manufacturer announced its plans for the next five years, the Autoblog staff was cautiously optimistic of the company's future. Investors? Not so much.
Fiat saw its shares tumble 12 percent in Wednesday's trading, falling from 8.67 euros ($12.06 at today's rates) to 7.44 euros ($10.35) as of this writing, with blame partly going to the Italian half of the FCA marriage, which recorded a pretty significant drop in profits during the first quarter of this year.
The plan, which will cost around $77 billion over the next several years, is facing criticism from investors thanks in part to a 1.4-percent drop in Fiat's first-quarter profits, to 622 million euros ($862 million). That figure is also short of Bloomberg analysts' projections, which predicted $1.18 billion in profits before taxes, interest and one-time items.
