ALL POWER in EXCELLENT condition!! Up for sale is a 98 Acura 3.5RL Premium edition in EXCELLENT condition that runs great and is very strong. No modification at all. Great gas mileage on this car, it is my everyday commuter car. Gas mileage 20mpg(city) / 27mpg(hwy) Nothing wrong at all. It's in EXCELLENT condition and very well maintained. I'm second owner. It has always been a pleasure. 202000 all HWY miles. - It's Premium Edition So, it has Acura original navigation, 6CD changer, Bose sound system, power seat(front driver/passenger), heated seats, memory seats, power mirror, heated mirror, power steering wheel, TCS, Cruise control, Sunroof, etc - ALL works perfectly. (Power window / Power door lock / Cold AC/ VERY CLEAN in/outside) - I spent $1000 for major maintenance a months ago. (NEW timing belt / water pump / thermostat / idlers / all the belts / crankshaft pulley / engine oil(FULL SYNTHETIC) / brake oil / coolant oil / engine mounts / spark plugs(NGK Iridium) / air filter - You don't have to spend any money for maintenance next 2years. just change engine oil. - It's really well maintained. - 210hp 3.5L V6 SOHC 24 valves (so powerful and smooth) - BOSE Radio FM/AM & 6CD changer / MP3 player - So clean inside / outside. (No rips on the seat) - NO accident. No leaking / No burning - Gas mileage 20mpg(city) / 27mpg(hwy) - average 24mpg - Lightly Tinted window - ALL Tires are new. Less than 500 miles. (All wheels are in excellent condition) - a/c and heat work like new - It passed smog test. - NO warning lights on at all (such as engine check, abs, srs, etc) - It's in perfect condition I'm asking $3500 obo I'm not hurry to sell it at all. Cody Loveland's Corvette-powered NSX claimed by Pikes Peak
Tue, 25 Jun 2013Let there be no doubt - racing automobiles can be very dangerous. This unfortunate fact of life has been proven once again today by Cody Loveland, owner of LoveFab, who crashed his Corvette-powered tube-frame Acura NSX on the second turn of the Pikes Peak hill climb course, apparently after a rear upper control arm failed. Cody hit a wall of boulders at high speed, after which the racecar caught fire.
Cody was able to escape the blaze unhurt - minus some missing hair that was singed off in the fire - but the car appears to be a complete mess, as you can see from the image above. The LoveFab Motorsports team has vowed to do its very best to rebuilt the car in time for the competition, but we'd be awfully surprised (and impressed) if that burnt-up hulk were ready for racing with just a few days to rebuild.
We're happy to hear that Cody got away safely, and here's hoping the rest of the competitors get up the hill without incident, or, like Cody, are at least able to walk away uninjured if they don't.
eBay Find of the Day: S.H.I.E.L.D. Acura TL from The Avengers
Thu, 23 Jan 2014If you're a fan of The Avengers from 2012, then here's your chance at owning a piece of movie memorabilia. Following last year's auction of a Acura MDX from that movie, Scottsdale Motor Company is now listing another S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicle on eBay Motors - this time a 2012 Acura TL.
Unlike the MDX, this TL has fewer modifications limited to the custom front push bumper, matte-black paint job and the various LED emergency lights in the back window and in the front bumper, while the inside appears untouched with the exception of small auxiliary switches. The current auction price of this car $32,900 - compared to the $41,535 MSRP of a new TL with Advance Package back in 2012 - but this is a steal compared to the movie-prop Monroney that comes with the car listing the "palladium-powered" sedan at $227,085. The seller says that this car was only one of five built for the movie, and it only has 1,111 miles on the odometer.
After the S.H.I.E.L.D. MDX and TL, we can only hope that Scottsdale Motor Company will offer Tony Stark's Acura NSX Roadster as its next movie car auction.
Acura releases yet another NSX track teaser vid
Sat, 03 Aug 2013On Sunday, August 4th (yep, that's tomorrow), a prototype version of the all-new Acura NSX will make its public track debut ahead of the Honda 200 IndyCar race. Acura has already given us a short video snippet to enjoy, but now it's added one more to get our hearts racing just a little more.
Before you watch it, make sure your speakers or headphones are turned up, because what the low-resolution video lacks in visual quality, it more than makes up for with its audio of the NSX's exhaust screaming as the car tackles Mid-Ohio. And at the end of the video, the caption reads "watch the NSX racing prototype take a lap."
Acura isn't joking either. From what we hear, the car is expected to take one lap before the race and then disappear for the weekend. Scroll down to see and hear the NSX in action.
