I USE THIS ACURA TO COMMUTE 90 MILES EVERY DAY. HEATER WORKS GREAT (JUST REPLACED THERMOSTATE AND FLUSHED THE HEATER CORE AT THE HONDA DEALER). JUST LAST MONTH INSTALLED NEW WATER PUMP, HOSES, VALVE COVER GASKETS, NEW TIMING BELT AND GASKETS. TIRES ARE AT 90% WITH RECENT ALIGNMENT AND SYNTHETIC OIL CHANGE. VEHICLE LOOKS AND DRIVES GREAT. WAS 40K NEW. THOUGH , THIS IS A USED CAR. BACK TWO WINDOWS ARE IN THE LOCKED POSITION AND SOMETIMES THE SUNROOF GETS STUCK (TRACK MAY NEED ADJUSTING). THE PARTS ARE ON EBAY FOR THE WINDOW REGULATORS FOR $79 APIECE. I WILL PURCHASE THEM FOR THE NEW OWNER AT THE BUY IT NOW PRICE. THERE IS NO RESERVE. ALL GLASS IS GOOD WITH NO CRACKS, CRUISE WORKS, POWER MEMORY SEAT AND MEMORY STEERING WHEEL ADJUST WORKS GREAT. NO TEARS IN THE LEATHER. INTERIOR IS GREAT. NO DENTS IN THE EXTERIOR. ONE SMALL DING THE SIZE OF A DIME THAT YOU HAVE TO SEARCH FOR TO SEE. GREAT CAR OVERALL. INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WAS REPLACED AT 198K +/- SO THE ODOMETER SHOWS 180K. DON'T BUY ONE CHEAPER AND SPEND $2,000 DOING THE WORK I JUST DID TO THIS ONE. DRIVE THIS ONE WITH A NEW TIMING BELT AND WATER PUMP. I HATE TO SELL IT BUT I NEED THE MONEY. EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS. YOU MAY HAVE A TRUE MECHANIC LOOK AT IT BUT PLEASE DON'T BRING SOMEONE UNCERTIFIED TO WASTE MY TIME. I HAVE ALL RECORDS FOR THE WORK MENTIONED ABOVE. MY FEEDBACK IS 100%. BID WITH CONFIDENCE. THE CAR IS SOLD AS IS. THANKS

Honda planning sub-NSX S2000 successor
Tue, 13 May 2014Nine years separated the arrival of the original Acura NSX and the Honda S2000. By that time, the NSX was closer to the end of its fifteen-year production cycle than it was to its beginning. The latest word has it that not only is Honda planning a successor to the S2000, but it's not about to wait that long after the new NSX arrives before it's rolled out.
While the S2000 was a front-mid-engined roadster, its successor will, according to the latest from Auto Express (which we are taking with a grain of salt), be a mid-engined coupe - closer, in other words, to the NSX than the S2000. Power would come from a more potent version of the 2.0-liter turbo four developed for the upcoming new Civic Type R, possibly as part of a hybrid system derived from Honda's upcoming Formula One powertain to develop over 400 horsepower.
Whether the new sports car would revive the S2000 nameplate, and whether it would wear the Honda or Acura badge in the United States, remain to be seen. As does its potential production site: while the previous S2000 was built at the same Takanezawa plant in Tochigi as the original NSX, the new NSX will be built at the new Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio. The new S660 roadster, meanwhile, is set to be assembled at the same Yachiyo plant in Yokkaichi as the original Honda Beat.
Honda to present HR-V, updated Acura ILX at LA show
Mon, 20 Oct 2014Honda has already showcased its new Fit-based crossover around the world. We've seen it in Tokyo wearing the Vezel name and we've seen it in Paris in 'prototype' form. We've even seen photos of the US-spec version. We just haven't seen that North American model in the flesh, but that'll all be fixed next month at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
That's where Honda will, at long last, unveil the US version of its new HR-V subcompact. The Japanese automaker hasn't told us much else, save to say that the HR-V will, of course, slot in below the CR-V in US showrooms. It'll also feature the company's lauded Magic Seat system, "which allows for multiple seating configurations and the ability to fold the second row seat completely flat for added cargo space."
Alongside the HR-V, Honda's luxury division will also be showcasing a revised version of its ILX sedan at the LA show as well. Acura hasn't revealed precise details of what revisions are in store for its smallest sedan - or a more detailed photo than the teaser inset at right - but it is promising "a comprehensive update that include a potent new powertrain, more forceful, sporty exterior styling and a substantially upgraded interior design."
Acura Concept SUV-X is where brand should be going [w/video]
Sat, 20 Apr 2013We're not saying Acura should off their Concept SUV-X for sale as-is, we're just saying we'd like to see Acuras that are interesting to look at on the outside, rather than just being packed full of technology on the inside. Revealed at the Shanghai Motor Show, the Concept SUV-X joins other compact high-rollers like the MG CS concept as an entrant for China's compact SUV segment.
But this won't be a concept forever. Acura says that the SUV-X is the precursor to a production offering from the brand in China that will come "in about three years." A presser below sheds a little more light on this and the Chinese version of the RLX that will go on sale in a few months, and there's a short video detailing some of the concept's finer points, as well.
