1991 Acura NSX

Very clean and well taken care of.

I have shown this NSX at car shows this year and last year and it won best in class each time.   It is not a perfect car due to being 20 years old now (and I drive it often as I can) but it is very clean, shows very well and is one of the nicest NSX's on the market.

Only reason for selling it is my job has me on the road 5-6 days per week so the car just sits.  I do not believe in cars sitting.  If you can't drive them and enjoy them then sell them to someone who will.

Car Heighlights:

  • lowered 3 inches from stock front and back.
  • after market rims
  • new paint ( base clear)
  • New showa window hatch and trunk struts.
  • New Belstine suspention struts all round
  • 90,000 mile servie complete
  • new water pump, belts, hoses, valves adjusted, computer mapped, seal replaced etc. Done by Source 1. Goshen Ohio.
  • New clutch  Sience of speed
  • aluminum fly wheel.  Sience of speed
  • Front performance stabilizer  Sience of speed
  • performance head work done by Honda Performance Development (HPD) California
  • Cold air intake kit.
  • new coolant tank
  • custom leather seats with customer stitching
  • custom swead interior side panel and back panel accents
  • leather swead head liner
  • carbon fiber accents
  • newer tires

This is a very clean car that gets a lot of attention.  The pictures speak for themselves.  This car is babied.

Whoever purchases this car will get new window regulators.  I removed them to have freshened up.  The windows wentup and down slower than I liked.  I also just replaced the main relay that controls fuel pump, ECU and other key components. I replaced it due to Acura dealer recomend it at 100,000.  I did not want to take any chances.

Buy before the prices on these NSX's get into the 6 didgets again.  It will not be long.

Car is be sold as is.  all sales are final. also selling car local so I can end auction at any time.

You are welcome to come and see or drive in the car before auction end.

Contact me with any question you may have.  I will answer any and all quastions.

1-248-207-1200  Call any week day after 5PM eastern time.  saturday anytime, Sunday after 12:00 noon.

Good luck bidding

Honda reports $1.9 billion profit in first quarter despite sales lag at home

Wed, 31 Jul 2013

Ford, General Motors and Chrysler have been living in a world of sunshine and buttercups after their April-through-June financials hit the newswire, and Toyota is doing pretty good as well. Honda? Not so much.
While Japan's third-largest manufacturer saw $1.9 billion in profits, the 5.1-percent jump was lower than expected thanks to a drop in its home-market sales. US sales also took a sting, as Honda hasn't been able to match the SUV and truck demand that are currently permeating the American market, despite an uptick in Accord sales.
Honda's initial forecasts targeted a take of 209.3 billion yen ($2.1 billion at today's rates), and while a $200 million shortfall is nothing to sniff at, we'd hardly take this as Honda being in trouble. And even with the dip, Honda hasn't adjusted its forecast for the fiscal year, which remains at 780 billion yen ($7.9 billion).

Honda demonstrates new Vehicle-to-Pedestrian safety tech [w/video]

Fri, 30 Aug 2013

We're fresh from a balmy rooftop deck in downtown Detroit, where Honda held a meeting this week to discuss and demonstrate a few upcoming advanced safety features. A clear focus of the mini event was the company's new Vehicle-to-Pedestrian (V2P) technology, with a suite of Vehicle-to-Motorcycle (V2M) tech a significant second course.
With spirits still high from announcing the 2014 Odyssey as the first minivan to win the Top Safety Pick+ status from IIHS - and after seeing the application of new high-strength-steel sections of the Acura MDX body structure - Honda shared the fruits of some safety tech that is still in the research phase.

Honda confirms 2014 Odyssey and Acura MDX for New York

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Look beneath the seats of a Honda Odyssey and you'll likely find a handful of that iconic loop cereal loved by toddlers nationwide. And to show that Honda understands its minivan's target market, it is using the breakfast staple to announce its plans to reveal the updated 2014 model at next week's New York Auto Show. While the announcement is creative, it unfortunately lacks much in the way of information, leaving us with little more than a vague teaser alluding to "some innovative new features."
As expected, Honda has also confirmed we will see the production version of the 2014 Acura MDX in New York. We expect the 2014 MDX to look very much like the prototype we saw in January at the Detroit Auto Show with only slight differences. The 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 will be offered with all-wheel drive or, in a first for MDX, front-wheel drive.
You'll find the official press snippets for both below, and we'll have live images and details on both from the New York show. Until then... Cheerio!
