2001 Acura Integra Type R

48k Original Miles
2 Owner

History of the car ::::
My friend was Landscaping one day and saw the car hiding under a cover in a Barn , so at that point I went and met the owner which was about 50 years old. He told me it was his sons car but his son died in Iraq so the car was sitting for about 3-4 years under a cover. I checked the car out and realized the clutch was frozen and so was the transmission, at that time I bought it and towed it to my friend race shop were 3 head mechanics looked over the whole car.  I basically told them to fix everything and make the car perfect . So that's what I did.

What I Replaced or added :::
**Brand new EXEDY clutch and Flywheel.
**Rebuilt the ORIGINAL transmission with all new parts, done by AAMCO with a 1 year warranty till March 2014
**Car was FULLY serviced ( Engine flush&foam cleaning, New spark plugs, new coils, new filters, synthetic oil change, new belts , new water pump, new bushing, new bearing, new tie rods, new brakes, new tires, new sensors.)
**Brand new H.I.D's and wiring
** VIPER ALARM /  Lo JACK
**AEM intake
**B&M shifter
**JDM TYPE R Front Seats
**ALPINE speakers
** I have two sets of mats - Original Type R Mats and JDM Red Mats

The bad::
**No a/c needs a new condenser
**Rear bumper needs new paint
**Common small nicks here and there (can be fixed with touch up paint)
**Small dent on driver front fender ( can be popped up with a Dent Magician)

THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES PERFECT!!!!!!!!

Acura puts on display of mechanical horsepower in new ad

Tue, 11 Feb 2014

Originally forged with a brand identity based on luxury, sportiness and practicality, Acura has spent the last decade or so struggling with its image. The sporting credibility suffered a mighty blow with the loss of cars like the Integra, RSX and NSX, and recent years have seen the Japanese company attempting to recast itself as a technology leader.
All of that makes this latest Acura commercial, Let The Race Begin, even more difficult to understand, metaphorically speaking. The horsepower-horse race 'theme' certainly isn't difficult to fathom, with mecca-equine versions of popular luxury brands filling the screen. But the choice to make Acura's filly a flesh-and-blood creation seems odd, for the high-tech theme. Acura as "thoroughbred apart from the rest of the field" seems to be the rough message here, though we're not sure we're buying it. We're also not sure we're comfortable with how much these ponies reminded us of a certain off-putting robotic dog...
Looks expensive, at any rate. Watch the robot ponies run for yourself, below.

Honda confirms 2014 Odyssey and Acura MDX for New York

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Look beneath the seats of a Honda Odyssey and you'll likely find a handful of that iconic loop cereal loved by toddlers nationwide. And to show that Honda understands its minivan's target market, it is using the breakfast staple to announce its plans to reveal the updated 2014 model at next week's New York Auto Show. While the announcement is creative, it unfortunately lacks much in the way of information, leaving us with little more than a vague teaser alluding to "some innovative new features."
As expected, Honda has also confirmed we will see the production version of the 2014 Acura MDX in New York. We expect the 2014 MDX to look very much like the prototype we saw in January at the Detroit Auto Show with only slight differences. The 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 will be offered with all-wheel drive or, in a first for MDX, front-wheel drive.
You'll find the official press snippets for both below, and we'll have live images and details on both from the New York show. Until then... Cheerio!

MotorWeek remembers retro icons, Supra and NSX

Thu, 16 Oct 2014

It's easy to poke a joke here and there about John Davis, the long-time host of MotorWeek. His voice is so monotonous that, from time to time, if you closed your eyes, you may think it's generated via a computer. But you have to give him and the rest of the show a lot of credit. The program has been on the air for decades, giving people direct, straight-down-the middle automotive reviews.
MotorWeek's massive back catalog of reviews are slowly making their way onto YouTube, and they provide a fascinating chance to look back on how performance cars rank against their contemporaries from back in the day. Two recent additions include the show's old looks at the 1986 Toyota Supra, the dawn of the third-generation model, and the now-iconic 1991 Acura NSX.
Both reviews are interesting in their own way. These days you hear nary a negative word about the original NSX, but MotorWeek isn't afraid to point out a few flaws. And the Supra really shows the progress of suspension tuning in the intervening decades because it has some serious body roll in the corners. Scroll down to check out both videos and get a blast from the automotive past.
