THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION.
THIS IS A VERY CLEAN ORIGINAL INTEGRA, DONT LET IT GET AWAY.

1999 ACURA INTEGRA LS 3 DOOR HATCHBACK.  1.8L FOUR CYL, AUTO OVERDRIVE, PS, PB, PW, PL, AC, CRUISE, TILT, CD, NON SMOKER CLEAN CAR. 96K MILES.  I AM THE THIRD OWNER AND HAVENT HAD IT LONG. CHECK CARFAX.  I BOUGHT IT TO COMMUTE AND NOW HAVE A COMPANY CAR.  IT HAS BEEN GETTING 29 MPG HWY.  IT RUNS FANTASTIC, HAS NEWER BRAKES, TIRES AND BATTERY.  THE INTERIOR IS ALMOST FLAWLESS.  IT'S EMERALD GREEN PAINT SHOWS VERY NICE.  VERY MINOR DING. SCUFF, TOUCHUPS, ETC.  THE WHEELS ARE ALUMINUM ALLOYS AND ARE STRAIGHT, BUT HAVE SOME CURB RASH.  I FLUSHED COOLANT, TRANSMISSION, AND INSTALLED NEW BOSCH ICON WIPERS (ALL THREE).  EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD.  ROOF, STEREO, CRUISE, LIGHTS, EVERYTHING IS OPERATING PERFECTLY.  I HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THIS CAR IN THE SHORT TIME I HAVE OWNED IT.  THESE CARS ARE VERY RELIABLE AND PREDICTABLE.  I WOULD DRIVE THIS CAR TO CALIFORNIA TOMORROW WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. THERE IS SOME CHIPPED PAINT BY THE TOP OF THE DRIVERS DOOR WHERE APPARENTLY IT WAS SLIM JIMMED IN THE PAST.  THERE IS A LITTLE BUBBLING BY THE REAR OF THE REAR WHEELWELLS ON BOTH SIDES.  IT IS VERY MINOR AND COMMON ON THESE AND CIVICS.  OTHER THAN THAT, I SEE VIN TAGS ON THE FENDERS, HOOD, DOORS, AND HATCH.  THESE ARE ORIGINAL PANELS.  I OFFER NO SURPRISES.  THIS CAR SHOWS VERY WELL FOR FOURTEEN YEARS OLD.  MY SITUATION CHANGED AND IT IS SITTING.  I'D RATHER SEE IT DRIVEN AND I WOULD LOVE TO PAY SOME BILLS. THANKS FOR LOOKING. GOOD LUCK.  PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS, COME AND LOOK AT IT.  FEEL COMFORTABLE, IT IS A GOOD CAR.

MotorWeek remembers retro icons, Supra and NSX

Thu, 16 Oct 2014

It's easy to poke a joke here and there about John Davis, the long-time host of MotorWeek. His voice is so monotonous that, from time to time, if you closed your eyes, you may think it's generated via a computer. But you have to give him and the rest of the show a lot of credit. The program has been on the air for decades, giving people direct, straight-down-the middle automotive reviews.
MotorWeek's massive back catalog of reviews are slowly making their way onto YouTube, and they provide a fascinating chance to look back on how performance cars rank against their contemporaries from back in the day. Two recent additions include the show's old looks at the 1986 Toyota Supra, the dawn of the third-generation model, and the now-iconic 1991 Acura NSX.
Both reviews are interesting in their own way. These days you hear nary a negative word about the original NSX, but MotorWeek isn't afraid to point out a few flaws. And the Supra really shows the progress of suspension tuning in the intervening decades because it has some serious body roll in the corners. Scroll down to check out both videos and get a blast from the automotive past.

Production Acura NSX spied getting sharper on the 'Ring

Tue, 22 Jul 2014

Acura hasn't been shy about trotting out the concept version of its upcoming NSX hybrid supercar - we've seen it colorized on Facebook, wearing Super GT drag and running wrapped at Mid Ohio - but until now, we've missed seeing the production version at all. Thankfully, our boys in the field have been diligently camped out by the Nürburgring, just the place for Acura engineers to get the NSX shaken down and ready for the public.
The first thing you'll likely notice (and no doubt appreciate) is that Acura is staying very true to the concept car. The same wind-tunnel-carved wedge shape is in evidence in the car's silhouette, and details like aggressively scalloped engine vents behind the cabin have made it through unscathed.
We do notice that there are some vertical elements at the bottom of the front fascia/grille that appear to be revised, and the mirrors are considerably less slinky than those of the concept car. Still, by and large, we're seeing a direct translation from show stand to real life here.

eBay Find of the Day: S.H.I.E.L.D. Acura TL from The Avengers

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

If you're a fan of The Avengers from 2012, then here's your chance at owning a piece of movie memorabilia. Following last year's auction of a Acura MDX from that movie, Scottsdale Motor Company is now listing another S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicle on eBay Motors - this time a 2012 Acura TL.
Unlike the MDX, this TL has fewer modifications limited to the custom front push bumper, matte-black paint job and the various LED emergency lights in the back window and in the front bumper, while the inside appears untouched with the exception of small auxiliary switches. The current auction price of this car $32,900 - compared to the $41,535 MSRP of a new TL with Advance Package back in 2012 - but this is a steal compared to the movie-prop Monroney that comes with the car listing the "palladium-powered" sedan at $227,085. The seller says that this car was only one of five built for the movie, and it only has 1,111 miles on the odometer.
After the S.H.I.E.L.D. MDX and TL, we can only hope that Scottsdale Motor Company will offer Tony Stark's Acura NSX Roadster as its next movie car auction.
