My brother purchased this car in 2000 and I bought it from him a almost 2 years ago. passed MD Inspection in Oct. of 2012. Passed MD Emissions Every thing works on the car except for the AC Here is a list of documented maintenance : New axle assembly replaced : 177,000 miles Timing Belt , Water Pump, Drive Belts, Wheel Bearing replaced : 202,000 miles New Igniter unit and coil assembly replaced : 208,000 miles PCV valve, oil pressure switch, front brake calipers and rotors, Plug wires, Distributor Cap, fast idle valve replaced : 214,000 miles Master Cylinder and slave cylinder replaced : 216,000 miles New Radiator and upper radiator hose replaced: 222,000 miles New Battery replaced: 224,000 miles New heater hoses, New Camshaft solenoid gasket replaced: 243,000 miles Power Steering Rack and Pinion, power steering Pump, Adjust Valved Clearance New spark plugs, transmission fluid , valve Cover gasket replaced: 246,000 miles New Tie Rod ends, Boot, CV axle, Trailing Arm Bushings Compliance Arm replaced: 254,000 miles Rear Rotors, Calipers, and Pads, New Tires replaced: 260,000 miles The following are upgrades I have added: Carbon Fiber Intake Type R cat back exhaust. Full size spare and original spare The body has some dent and scrapes but nothing major. It is my daily driver. It is in excellent running condition. Interior is in great condition except for some spills on the carpet and the driver's seat stitching is coming undone a little. Powerball winner's first purchase will be used Acura NSX off Craigslist
Thu, 08 Aug 2013We don't play the lottery very often, but when we do, even a five-dollar win is cause for celebration. So we can't possibly imagine how Paul White from Minnesota is feeling after scoring a third of this week's $448 million Powerball jackpot. It has to be an overwhelming experience, but we think he's going to end up handling it well if his first press conference is any indication.
Like some of us, White has a pretty reasonable idea of what his first purchase is, and boy, is it a good one: an early Acura NSX. Yes, this man has class. Rather than run out and buy a clichéd Rolls-Royce or Lamborghini, his first instinct is to go pick up a $30,000 Acura that he has been eyeing on Craigslist for months. It's enough to make us wonder if he'll use his winnings to get on the list for one of Acura's new NSXs when they finally come around in 2015.

Honda demonstrates new Vehicle-to-Pedestrian safety tech [w/video]
Fri, 30 Aug 2013We're fresh from a balmy rooftop deck in downtown Detroit, where Honda held a meeting this week to discuss and demonstrate a few upcoming advanced safety features. A clear focus of the mini event was the company's new Vehicle-to-Pedestrian (V2P) technology, with a suite of Vehicle-to-Motorcycle (V2M) tech a significant second course.
With spirits still high from announcing the 2014 Odyssey as the first minivan to win the Top Safety Pick+ status from IIHS - and after seeing the application of new high-strength-steel sections of the Acura MDX body structure - Honda shared the fruits of some safety tech that is still in the research phase.

Mon, 05 Aug 2013Acura's achingly slow showing of the new, hybrid NSX saw yet another step yesterday, as we reported late last week. A powder-blue prototype ran ahead of the open-wheelers at the Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Why show the NSX Prototype at Mid-Ohio? Honda's Ohio research and development center, which has taken the lead on NSX development, is just 60 miles from the track. And as race sponsor, Honda must have figured it would give the spectators a glimpse of the new supercar it's been teasing for the better part of a decade.
With a planned launch in 2015 (special emphasis on the "planned" part, considering the NSX's history), the NSX Prototype shown here sports graphics that "speak to Acura's intention to go racing with the new NSX." That's great news for fans of endurance racing, although it remains to be seen when a motorsports program for the new NSX will get off the ground.
