Check out this 1990 Acura Integra LS. SELLING AT NO RESERVE!!! DONT MISS OUT!! I got this car from a friend of mine. ONLY has 137000 ACTUAL MILES!!! This car is equipped with the 1.8L 4cylinder engine which runs and drives out great!! No leaks or problems I know of. This is a very dependable and low maintance engine. The transmission is Automatic w/ Overdrive and shifts out smooths and functions as it should. The paint is in fair shape. It is faded on the top half of the car and the left rear fender has some rust on the fender lip. I can have the car painted completely and repaired for additional $1000.00 if you would like. Or you may not even want to paint it and use as a everyday driver. You may want to custom paint it. It is all your decision. The interior is Gray Cloth and is also in fair shape. The fronts seats need seat covers, however back seat is in great shape and folds down. The dash is in great shape with no cracks or problems. Head liner is in excellent shape. This car is equipped with Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Cruise Control, Fog Lights, Automatic Seat Beats and In Dash CD Player. All options function as they should. The AC blows ICE COLD. HEAT blows HOT! Tires are almost like new!! Hubcaps are losing paint, however it comes with a second set in the trunk. Car has just been serviced and has a brand new battery. This Acura truly runs and drives great and will make someone a great commuter car or a great first car. Maybe for a son or daughter. I have been very impressed on how nice this car drives and handles. PLUS it gets GREAT GAS MILEAGE!!! I cant think of anything else this car needs other than a good home. Acura recalling 43k MDX and RLX models over seatbelt issue

Tue, 14 Oct 2014

If you've ever lived in a wintery climate, you may have noticed something strange: no, not the perilously enticing sparkle of cold metal in the sunlight or the way your warm breath suddenly becomes visible in the frigid air, but the way your seatbelt seems increasingly reluctant to retract as the temperature drops. Acura, however, has found the problem more serious than a minor inconvenience, and is recalling some 43,000 vehicles across the United States to address the issue.
The recall in question affects about 7,000 RLX sedans (from the 2014 model year) and another 36,000 MDX crossovers (covering the 2014 and 2015 model years) to have their front seatbelts replaced. In the affected vehicles and in very low temperatures, Acura has found that "the driver's and front passenger's seatbelts may not release from the retracted position." Needless to say, seatbelts that can't be used don't offer any protection in the event of an accident, so the Japanese automaker is notifying owners and dealers to hook up to have those seatbelts replaced.

Acura TLX caught naked in production guise, can you spot the differences?

Mon, 10 Mar 2014

Acura doesn't tend to do concept cars these days that don't foreshadow a specific upcoming production model. The ZDX prototype of 2010 previewed the production version, as did the ILX and RLX showcars of 2012 and the MDX of 2013. The NSX concept is on its way to production, as the SUV-X concept is likely to do as well in the coming years. So when Acura revealed the TLX prototype at the Detroit Auto Show a few months ago, we all but knew it would only be a matter of time before that, too, would be produced. And here it is.
Spied all but completely undisguised while undergoing testing, this pair of TLX prototypes (one in white, one in black) looks almost identical to the show car. You might spot a few minor tweaks here and there - the strip of LEDs in the lower front bumper have been replaced by round fog lamps and some of the chrome accents are missing - but by and large, we're looking at the same vehicle we saw in Detroit earlier this year.
The finished production version of the TLX is expected to debut at the New York Auto Show next month, after which it will replace both the TSX and the TL, slotting in between the smaller ILX and the larger RLX in Acura's sedan lineup.

2015 Acura NSX burns to the ground at the 'Ring [w/video]

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

Assuming all goes to plan, automakers test their vehicles to the breaking point in the months and years leading up to that vehicle's actual release into the public. Which is good, because it's much better for a car to break in glorious fashion in the hands of the company that produces it than in the driveway of an owner who just spent their hard-earned cash to get it.
Such was the case with this production-guise Acura NSX prototype that we saw running around the Nürburgring just the other day. We can't be 100-percent certain, but the burned-out carcass is wearing the same number plate as the car that was spotted earlier, so it's likely the very same NSX. We have no idea what was the cause of the blaze that turned this Acura into the car-b-q you see pictured above, but our spy shooters on the ground in Germany say it was not involved in any collision, having caught on fire all on its own with engineers behind the wheel.
The good news is that nobody was hurt, though the car is quite clearly a complete loss. We're sure there's another ready to to test in the burned car's place... just as soon as the engineers at Honda figure out exactly what went wrong. Have a look at the smoldering aftermath up above, and feel free to scroll down below to see a video of the car in much better circumstances.
